We understand from our previous entry that Garth Ennis, the brilliantly nefarious mind behind Vertigo's critically acclaimed Preacher series, will be in the director's chair for a grisly film with a new take on the undead.Having premiered just last week at the Comic-Con, Avatar Press has released the firs teaser trailer of Garth Ennis' directorial short film, Stitched, online. Somewhat surprisingly, this looked just what it is supposed to be: A film destined for Direct-to-video hell. Let's hope Ennis can yet surprise us.
Here's the official synopsis of the short film:
Three little figures stagger across the desolate landscape. Their Blackhawk burning in the rocks and the rest of the crew gone with it, the trio must survive both the terrible conditions and the hostile attentions of the locals. But there are worse foes than Taliban fighters in this ancient land, as an old and terrible force arises to serve a twenty-first century evil.
